How do you know ?
If you are reading this blog, then I am sure you are thinking that your dog or puppy does suffer from Separation Anxiety (SA)
Have you been searching for answers ?
Have you heard lots of advice from well meaning friends and family?
Things like.......
Ohhhh you must have spoiled him
Just let him cry it out
Put him in a crate
Show him who is boss, you must be too soft.
That's what happens if you let him on the bed, sofa, sleep in your room . Add your own example.
Maybe you have neighbours that have mentioned the barking when you are out.
Or you come home to damaged furniture, maybe soiling.
Possibly your dog injuring himself too.
You dread going out, maybe you never go out now, or if you do, your dog has to come with you.
Then the GUILTY feelings set in.
Perhaps you are even starting to resent ever bringing your beloved dog home.
You may even be having arguments with loved ones.
SA affects the whole family.
